ACUPUNCTURE FOR ANXIETY AND STRESS can be very relieving. Once you realize that you are having anxiety issues then a plan of attack can be implemented to treat the acute phase by using acupuncture for anxiety and stress and then understand that the symptoms may tie to other underlying issues. While feeling slightly anxious may be normal in some cases, there may be other times when this feeling seems overwhelming and is accompanied by stress, depression, brain fog and unease. When you tie these symptoms together, there is more than likely underlying factors that are manifesting in your nervous system causing these symptoms.

For instance, my teenage years I was given tetracycline for acne. I was on it for several years and it seemed to work quite well to control the pimples. What I didn’t know was that these antibiotics also came with a side effect by killing all my good bacteria in my intestinal tract. A few years later I started having depression, fatigue and terrible gas. Finally, I ended up going to a macrobiotic expert who said I have candida, which I had never heard of. I went on an anti-candida diet and within a few days my energy returned, the gas was gone and no depression. This diet was much better than the symptoms I had been experiencing. Anxiety, depression and brain issues are very common and have little to do with serotonin or dopamine in most cases. The most common causes of anxiety, depression and brain fog has to do with neurological inflammation, Candida Albicans and Vagus Nerve Syndrome. These three conditions probably sum up over 90% of the depression and anxiety that we see today. When a patient presents with these symptoms, we need to look at what lies beneath the symptoms to fully address the causes. Once the causes are identified then an appropriate course of action can be implemented to give lasting relief.
