Modalities

I use comprehensive testing methods to understand the root cause of your symptoms. Once identified, we can choose from a variety of acupuncture treatment modalities that incorporate the Chinese meridian energy system. Acupuncture for headaches and pain relief. Both acupuncture and acupressure can also be used to rebalance the meridian system along with precision nutritional, herbal, biotoxin and heavy metal detoxification protocols.

Applied Kinesiology

Applied kinesiology, functional kinesiology, or clinical kinesiology are a means of accessing vital information from the energetic body (acupuncture meridian flow) by using muscle testing as a method. Acupuncture meridians have specific points on those meridians that can be tested to indicate a meridian weakness (decreased energy flow), stagnant energy flow, or a weakness in the related organs to those meridians.

An energetic mismatch may occur in response to a stimulus. This may give feedback as to the status or cause of a specific health concern. Applied kinesiology is not a definitive test, however it can help arrive at a clearer clinical diagnosis and better treatment outcomes. The tongue and twelve pulses diagnosis may also be used in conjunction to get a larger and more defined picture.

For years, muscle testing has been used for many applications such as testing for the most compatible herbs, vitamins and other botanicals to best match and balance your meridian flow. Kinesiology can determine if an energetic mismatch is present. Any food, supplement, herb, microbe or toxin can cause an energetic mismatch, which may increase symptomology. Kinesiology takes much of the guesswork out so success can be achieved more rapidly and thoroughly.

The Benefits of Focused Energetic Detoxification

We live in a time when heavy metal toxins and biotoxins have become our greatest enemy. Neurological and systemic toxicity are the norm now. We now need biotoxin and heavy metal detoxification protocols that encompass multiple modalities, energetic pathways and supplemental support. By accessing both energetic and physical pathways together, we can be more precise, thorough and selective about what we are detoxing. Our innate acupuncture meridian system can best access those detox pathways to greatly speed up and improve the detoxification experience. In conjunction biotoxin and heavy metal detoxification and binding supplements are also used to support the entire process.

An Energetic Toxin Mismatch

Substances such as heavy metal toxins, bio toxins, pathogens and allergic sensitivities create havoc on our innate meridians and immune system. When a heavy metal toxin or biotoxin enters the body via the air, food, water or internal entry, there will always be an energetic response within our acupuncture meridians, immune and nervous system. This response may cause an energetic mismatch in the innate meridian flow, causing either stagnation (blocked energy flow), excess (too much energy) or deficient (lack of) energy flow in any of the twelve meridians and the organs and systems they control. These energetic mismatches cause stress to these pathways and may cause symptomology in the related organ systems. The meridians and immune systems response to the stress becomes the body’s symptoms.  What’s causing the meridian and immune imbalances is the key.

Meridian Sensitivity Testing and Balancing

Allergic sensitivities such as wheat, corn, dairy, pollen, vitamin C and salt for example can cause a disruption or mismatch in certain acupuncture meridians. This mismatch of energy flow can cause myriad symptoms often referred to as an allergic or sensitivity reaction. Diminished, stagnant or unbalanced meridian flow in response to particular substances can uncover the underlying cause of these reactions.

Meridian sensitivity balancing can address the cause of these reactions by rebalancing the meridian flow in response to a particular sensitivity. This meridian balancing can help the body to have much less or no reaction to the particular substance when exposed in the future. Toyo Hari (Japanese acupuncture and diagnosis) can enhance this process. Thousands of people have been able to create a reduced or sensitivity free existence with this method.

Allergic Reaction in Plain View

Years ago, my business partner and best friend Suzzette had two horrible gallbladder attacks that landed her in the hospital on July 4th, two years in a row. What we found was that her gallbladder meridian was responding to an energy mismatch. Sulfur was creating stagnation in her gallbladder meridian. Why on July 4th two years in a row? Her house overlooked the water and was in close proximity to the city fireworks show. Besides breathing in sulfur, she also consumed foods on those two days that contained sulfur, such as potato salad and devilled eggs.

Connecting the Dots

By using kinesiology, we could identify the source of the problem. She now knew to abstain from those sulfur-containing foods, as well as any future firework shows. Sulfur is what you smell from the fireworks or cooked eggs. Once we were able to balance the mismatch of sulfur with her gallbladder meridian, she never had a gall bladder attack again. She was then able to eat sulfur-containing foods and attend firework shows without any discomfort. In the process we were able to save her gallbladder. Her lifestyle returned to as it was before.

Where qi, blood and lymph fluid flow, the detoxification process is enhanced. Where stagnant or deficient qi exists, blood and lymph flow become stagnant, and the detoxification pathways are hindered. Strong balanced meridian qi energy is needed to support the detox process and proper organ function.

Lung Qi Deficiency simply means the lungs are being weakened by a host of possible causes. Many of these causes would include both external pathogenic wind, heavy metal and environmental toxins entering the interior affecting the lung qi. Inflammation and mucus production are enhanced in the lungs causing a weakening effect and may be hindered in detoxing offending agents. People who have lung qi deficiency may have breathing difficulties, or their symptoms are labeled as asthma, bronchitis or COPD.

Heart Qi Deficiency means there is a weakness or stagnation in the heart or pericardium meridians. The cause may be varied. These would include external toxins and pathogenic factors entering the heart and pericardium. This may instigate cardiac dysfunction and an overall weakening effect causing heart qi deficiency. Symptoms might include shortness of breath, heart pain, palpitations, erratic heart rhythm, and blockage.

Kidney Qi Deficiency means the kidney meridian is weak and there might be underlying causative agents and metabolic patterns draining the kidney energy. This would hinder the ability of the kidneys to function and detox properly. The bladder meridian may also be affected, as they are paired meridians. Reproductive and respiratory systems may be affected as well.

Liver Qi Stagnation is where there is a stagnation of energy and heat in the liver and gallbladder meridians. This can cause heat (inflammation) to stagnate. A stagnant liver may cause a backup of toxins due to the liver’s inability to break them down to be expelled by the kidneys and colon. The combination of liver qi stagnation and kidney qi deficiency would impact how toxins are processed by the liver and expelled by the kidneys.

Spleen Qi Deficiency is where the spleen meridian has become deficient. The spleen meridian is associated with the lymph system, and both can become overburdened with toxins. Lymph flow tends to stagnate if the spleen is deficient. This is the most common Chinese medicine diagnosis due to all of the environmental factors we are facing today. Strong spleen qi encourages better lymph flow and digestive processes.

How Acupuncture Meridians Work

Meridians are energetic pathways that transverse the body much like a network of connecting pathways and circuits. They enter and pass through most organs in the body. Each pathway, called a meridian, has a certain amount of acupuncture points on it.

By stimulating certain points on a particular acupuncture meridian, one can have various effects on that pathway and the organ or area the pathway transcends. For instance, the liver meridian has 14 points on it. Each point has a different effect on the liver meridian. Some points will support and energize the liver, while another point may clear heat and stagnation out of the liver and another point may calm the liver. Liver 3 clears heat and moves the liver qi, which can be very beneficial for women during PMS time as the liver gets hot and stagnant. This heat rises to the head and causes irritability.

The liver transcends the groin and abdominal area, so it also helps to move the stagnant qi and heat out of these areas, thereby moving the stagnant blood as well. When meridian energy is squelched like a kinked hose, the blood becomes stagnant locally, then energy flow is reduced or imbalanced.

This is just one example of how acupuncture works. Meridians communicate with every cell in the body and influence most of the body’s natural processes. There are many treatment applications for various ailments.

Any organ deficiency or imbalance can be helped by stimulating certain acupuncture points on that particular meridian. Each acupuncture point serves as a message input center. Meridians serve as network communication pathways. They tell the body what messages are being sent. This is all done by electromagnetic vibrational communication. Every cell in the body understands this language and will respond accordingly.

Chinese medicine has known this for over 3000 years, by understanding that acupuncture works on a physiological basis (physical basis). Just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Look at all the devices we own that transmit vibrational signals invisibly through frequencies. We don’t see them, but know they work. Chinese Medicine is vibrational medicine.

The Japanese use Toyo Hari diagnosis and point stimulation. The Koreans also understand how acupuncture works, as they have adopted their own form of acupuncture treatments.

Focused Immune Response Support

Our immune systems are being compromised daily by a host of pathogenic and environmental factors that have a direct effect on both our acupuncture meridian system and our Innate immune function.

A robust and balanced  immune system is able to better respond to real threats a so it is not reacting to false flags so common in auto-immune and other illnesses today. Proper meridian flow supports a high functioning immune systems response to these pathogens and toxins in a variety of ways. By supporting meridian flow to toxins, external pathogenic factors (wind) and internal lingering unwanted guests, the immune system can be more powerful and selective in its ability to defend and root out these invaders.

Immune support botanicals can also play a major role in this process to support overall immune response and improve immune selectivity and response.

Toya Hari Meridian Therapy

  1. Diagnose the “root” cause by addressing any imbalances in the patient’s meridian system and body. The treatment can be expanded to relieve and reduce symptoms of the “root” issue, such as back pain, insomnia, headaches, auto-immune, etc.
  2. Once the “root” issues, including the organ related issues are treated successfully, then restoring the patient’s entire body and energy flow can be achieved. The focus is always about one’s meridian QI, which is central to the healing process.
